Day 29

Today is day 29.  And, i took a rest day.  I know, why would you take a rest day right before your big day 30 photos and weigh in.  Well let me tell you, sometimes your body lets you know when you need to rest.  And I've killed myself the last week, over an hour everyday.  And i just needed a rest.  I'm not in pain, nor am i sore, but sometimes rest can deliver the best results.
Tomorrow morning i'm waking up and taking my photos.  It'll probably be later tomorrow night before i get anything posted.  I have a wedding to go to in Abingdon tomorrow which is about an hour and a half from here.  But, my results are awesome in my opinion.
So with that being said, i DID do some stretching, and i was really noticing my flexibility has increased a lot.  But guys, with that said, it's about bed time, gotta get the rest as well.  1 more day, tomorrow is what we've been working for day 30, coming at you "live" (thanks rob) shortly.  I'm telling you this program is a life saver.

Day 28

So week 4 has come to a close.  Wow, 4 weeks, that's gone by fast.  I think what amazes me most about this program is how FUN it is.  Yes i said it, i have FUN working out.  It makes me feel better, it doesn't stress my joints, it's 0 impact, BUT i get a world class workout.  I literally have to remind myself to take rest because i look forward to my time with DDP everyday.
What's on today's schedule?  Well today was my nieces birthday, 2 years old, and i'm a family man.  My family comes first, and my nieces and nephews mean a lot to me.  So, how could i turn down a cupcake for this little angel?  I didn't, that's how.  Now before you go saying "Blasphemer" or whatever else you'll call me, note this.  I had 1. That's it, 1.  I ate 1 and stopped.  You see part of this journey for me has been learning how to eat healthy, and the other part of eating healthy in my opinion is moderation.  I see nothing wrong with 1 cupcake.  And the fact that my diet has been so clean the last few days/month, i saw nothing wrong with a little indulgence.  I honestly feel the quickest way to making yourself quit a health routine is become a straight up nazi about it.  Relax, you want that cupcake DO IT.  But just make sure it's in moderation and not everyday.

Wowsa, i got off on a tangent there.  So after I left my brothers i came home, and within minutes i had my mat out and DDP in my PS3.  Which workout?  DIAMOND CUTTER.  It's become my go to.  It's 50 minutes and works and stretches your entire body from top to bottom.  I feel like a million bucks, and heck, i even look like...........well i'm not there yet, but i'm getting there! Again, i would like to thank you all for reading this, over 1100 views, and that's amazing, i'm sure it's the same people.  BUT you are the ones who keep me accountable.

If you all have any questions about what i'm doing or information on this program, feel free to contact me on facebook.

Day 27

Today was busy.  Had a buddy come in from a few hours away that i hadn't seen in a while.  And had to go to the hospital with my Girlfriend whose mom had a pacemaker put it.  I was going from the time i got up at 7:30 this morning.
With that said, i did find time to workout.  Not only that, but i got in 50 minutes via Diamond Cutter and it was fantastic.  My heart rate was through the roof and i'm sure i burned a TON of calories.  I feel incredible.  I took some pre 30 day photos, and i'm happy with the results.  Their not mind blowing or astonishing, but what they are, is very credible, realistic results.  I know a few areas i need to make adjustments, (diet mainly) but i feel i got what i put in, and that's incredible.  3 more day's and you guys will see the results.  I will take a new set obviously on day 30.
Also if you get a chance, check out Mark Furniss, his blog is fantastic.

Day 26

Today i embarked upon a new journey.  I did Double Black Diamond.  An intermediate workout, running roughly 70 minutes.  And i gave it my all and started fizzling out toward the end.  Very very tough.  A few hours later, i pulled my mat back out, and decided to just do some stretching.  I'm still trying to get my hips loose, and it doesn't seem like it matters how much stretching i do, that's the one area i can't seem to gain flexibility in.  Or at least it's a bit slower then the rest of my body.  I spent about an extra hour doing the stretches.
Other then that, i didn't do a whole lot of anything, sat around watched some TV and played some games.  Only 4 more days until day 30 pics.  I'm excited, and also learning at the same time, i know where i need to make adjustments and can't wait until day 60.  But i'm not trying to get ahead of myself, i'm focused on 4 days from now when day 30 hits on the calender.
Ladies and gentlemen, i wish i could express how good my body feels from doing this.  This program has completely restored my body, now yes i have a ways to go but i feel like a new man.  I wake up with 0 pain, none, not a bit, pain free, and that's amazing.  It's been a long time sense that has happened.  I wake up (most of the time as i'm still not a morning person) refreshed and energized.  I just want everyone to at least try yoga, stretching and lengthening your spine will hold back the hands of time.

Day 25

Day 25, i woke up semi sore.  Not the sore after lifting a ton of weights and you can't move, but a i can tell i've worked my muscles and it feels good.  This sentence may make no sense to you, unless you're a yoga, DDPYoga in-particular, user.  So, i opted to at least get a small workout in, i did energy which is 22 minutes.  I didn't put a whole lot on it but enough to get a great stretch.  Didn't get any running in either but it also rained all day.  I'm not using that as an excuse, but my body was letting me know i needed to take it easy today.  I'm having trouble opening my hips, there insanely tight, it's the only place that hasn't really gained a lot of flexibility.  Any help?

Peeps there is 5 days left until my day 30 video.  I'm getting excited, i'm seeing all kinds of amazing changes, my clothes are fitting better, and some shirts that used to be a bit tight are fitting a little looser now.  And the amazing thing about this, all of this from Yoga, YES Yoga.  So many people look at me strange, i remember buying my Yoga mat at Wal-Mart and the lady scoffed.  People keep knocking it, but once you see my results in 5 days, maybe you'll give it a try.

Tomorrow i'm going to have another go at Diamond Cutter (50 minutes) and possibly some more running in the evening.  Thanks for reading.

Day 24

Day 24 was one of my best days yet.  My motivation and determination will not be broke.  I did Diamond Cutter (50 minutes, and on the intermediate disc) followed by Red Hot Core (almost 20 minutes).  So, i consider that a huge win for myself.  Then to make things better, i went to my brothers and ran about 2 miles.  Up some hills, and everything, it was a pretty challenging run.
6 days to the 30 day measurements and weigh in.

One thing i want to discuss, is a famous old saying.  Behind every good man, their is a better woman.  I think i fall into that category, my girlfriend, is not only supportive, but has endeavored on this journey with me.  She doesn't do 6-7 days like i do.  But she follows the schedule, and sometimes gets an extra workout in from time to time.
Short but sweet (The blog not my girlfriend) thanks for checking it out.

Day 23

Day 23 was jam packed.  I was busy from when i woke up at 7:30, until right this minute at 10:28 as i type this.  As i mentioned yesterday my sister is now doing DDPYoga, i woke up earlier then usual this morning to prepare breakfast.  Having her here is great because holding her accountable, is in turn holding myself accountable.
Knowing today was going to be such a busy day i decided to do DDPYoga on my lunch from work.  And i'm glad i did, because the rest of the day i was busy.  I did Fat Burner and boy did it have me sweating.  However i noticed i'm getting stronger, the 3 second push-ups i'm a lot more efficient at.  I can hold myself about 3 inches off the ground and slowly come up, it's not longer a struggle, and it's not an un-even push.  Today i mark as a huge success, and just another step in the grand scheme of things.

Another thing is to the DDPYoga community.  You guys are the best.  I love everyone i talk to in there.  And i just wanna do my best to keep you all motivated .  So remember this.  DDP is soon going to be releasing his "documercial" and Teamddpyoga.com is going to absolutely explode.  Chat get's tough sometimes with the 30-40 people at a time.  Imagine when it gets to be thousands.  So with that remember this, whether this is your first day, or your hundreth day, NEVER STOP.  When this place blows up, you can be the person the new guys look up to.  The way that i look up to Rob, Philly, Marv, Heidi, and EVERY SINGLE person on team ddp.  Start today, so you can be the motivation for someone tomorrow.

Thanks for reading guys, i love everyone of you all.

Day 22

Today is a huge day for me.  Not from a workout stand point.  But for the next month my sister is living with me.  I have my own "accountability crib".  So for the next 30 days we're gonna blog her progress as well.  I will link it in my blog tomorrow.
I did some stretching today, and i held the black crow position for 8 seconds.  Starting to find my balance, which is awesome.  After yesterdays workout of yoga and running i was semi sore today so i just took it easy.  I stretched out, added a little dynamic resistance and didn't over do it.
Sorry i know this was a quick blog, but don't forget 8 days until my day 30 blog.  Not much longer, i think you all will all be impressed.
Another thing i wanna talk about, i have 700 views.  in 22 days.  That's crazy guys.  I appreciate every single person who comes here and views this.  I'm going to link you to a few amazing video blogs.

DDPYoga Vs Rob is fantastic, he's one of my favorites out there.
Adam Stax does a monthly blog, and is talking about doing weekly.  He's a pastor, great passion and a great inspiration
Heavy Hippie this dude, if you don't get motivated from this guy, you need to get out of here.

Day 21

Today is day 21. First off i'd like to say thanks to everyone who reads these.  In just 21 days i've had over 500 people view my blog, and that's amazing.
What can i say, three full weeks down, 3 weeks stronger.  9 days until the day 30 weigh in.  So, how was my day 21.
Well for starters, here's this.
Now, the reason this photo is important is because 21 days ago i couldn't do this.  Not only could i not do this, i couldn't even get low enough to attempt it.  That is a huge deal to me.  Not only that, but if i could get into that position, i couldn't support my weight 21 days ago.  I'm lighter and stronger, well, you get the picture (no pun intended)

So, day 21, definitely had a BANG to it.  I did Stand up, which is a little over 30 minutes, of intense leg work.  From where i did diamond cutter a few days ago, my shoulders were still feeling it, so i decided to mostly work the lower body.
Afterwards, i went to my brothers and ran a mile and a half, not on level terrain either, it's got it's share of up and downs, and the hill at the end is pretty steep.  Who knows, maybe i'll make a video and show you all the route i take.

So, guys, have you seen enough?  Are you ready to change your life, go check out www.ddpyoga.com.  And if that's not enough just watch this video.

If you can watch this video and tell me "I can't" i'll know you're a liar.  Enough with excuses, enough with giving up on yourself.  It's time to OWN YOUR LIFE.  You can change, you can become healthy and it doesn't require you beating yourself up with weights and junk all day long.  (i'm not bashing those who do).  But this program is great for beginners all the way up for those who are in great physical condition.

So i'll leave you with two bits of information.
1.  Do not complain about your results, with the work you did not do.
2. (stealing this DDPYoga VS Rob great youtube channel, check it out)  Ladies and gentlemen, This is not rocket science, this is DDPYoga.

Day 19 and 20

Sorry for not posting yesterday,  i was so tired.  Just completely drained.  I'm not sure if it had to do with lack of sleep, or the fact that i crushed Diamond Dozen.  For those of you unfamiliar with the program Diamond Cutter is considered an "intermediate" workout, it's 50 minutes, of ridiculously intense stretching and working out.  So i consider day 19 a success.

Day 20
Waking up today my body was sore.  Probably from pushing so hard during Diamond Cutter.  I planned on taking it easy.  But i went to my brothers and actually ran about a mile and a half with him.  Then afterwards coming home and and doing Energy with my girlfriend.  The thing i love about this program, is even if you push it a bit, you always feel rewarded after doing it.  You don't feel regretful.

Guys, 10 days away from my 30 day weight in, and i'm not sure what my weight will bring, but i can honestly tell you, i think the changes in inches in my waist are going to shock you guys.  Keep reading, and remember

Day 18

Not much to discuss today, I did some yoga, Energy to be exact, and honestly, did nothing other then sit on my couch and play games.  I'm going to do some more stretching later tonight, i'm still working on my hips.  There so freaking tight, everything else has loosened up, except that area, the "hip-flexers" if you will.  Going to a buddy's to work on some stretching, he does DDPYoga as well, and probably watch wrestling all night.

Diet:
So, right now, what i've been doing the last week is called the 5:2 diet, 5 days around about 1800-2000 calories, and 2 days at 600.  This prevents starvation mode, and essentially shocks your metabolism and causes it to work faster, and harder.  So far in 5 days, the results of this has been, well, better then i imagined.  But again i'll update you on day 30 of that progress.

Day 30 is only 12 days away people.  And i am getting so excited.

Day 17

Alright, today, day 17.  Today is a huge day for me, i'm realizing this thing is happening.  only 13 days away from my 30 day weigh in.  Under 2 weeks.  It's a crazy feeling knowing how far i've come in 17 short days.  I'm getting stronger, my flexibility is becoming so much deeper, and i'm getting smaller.  My waist has already had some crucial loss around my waist.  But i'm not gonna spoil it for you.  Tune in in 13 day's for that.
Today exercise wise I did Fat Burner and Energy back to back.  Jacked my heart rate up, and went as hard as i can go.  My caloric intake was under 1800, so i'm still gaining ground and making progress.  Plus i'm eating clean.

Cheat days.  Let's rehash this.  I'm done with cheat days.  100%, I cheated last week, and i paid for it, and i felt like crap.  Gained some weight, and it almost made me want to quit.  SO with that said, i am done cheating.  Pretty much clean eating and healthier choices from here on out.
That's about it for today.  Thanks for the people at www.teamddpyoga.com for keeping me motivated.

Day 16

Day 16 is in the books.  There wasn't a lot that went on today, i worked from 8-7.  I didn't do an exact tape, but i took some stuff from several different ones and made my own routine.  Feeling better and stronger everyday.  I'ts crazy to think how fast time flies.  I'm over half way to day 30 which is nuts.  I've been doing this 16 days, which is 16 days of not procrastinating. Just staying motivated and keeping going.  Tomorrow i'm going to do Yoga and do some walking.

My goal is to be 225-230 by September 7th (my birthday).  52 days.  Definitely obtainable, i'm honestly hoping to hit that by my day 60 weight in which is September 2nd.  Time to kick it into high gear and get stuff done.

Day 15

Well, we are half way to day 30, today was day 15.  The start of week 3.  I'm feeling great, i took an off day yesterday and honestly i think it may have done WAY more good then bad.  I was definitely putting time in, and my body was letting me know it needed a break.  My weight has maintained around the same, But i'm not overly concerned with weight as much as i am about size.  Also, i'm making this promise, i'm not weighing until day 30 when i reveal the numbers to you all.

Today as far as exercise i did Energy Felt great to stretch out, and put a lot behind this workout.  I stopped using my heart rate monitor because i found myself checking it way to often.  I would lose my heart rate because of checking the freaking monitor.  At any rate, Energy did it's job, and i plan on doing some light stretching prior to bed.

GOALS
So, i made a list of goals short term and long term goals.  Here they are.

245 lbs
240 lbs
230 lbs
220 lbs
210 lbs
Under 200 lbs

There are a few, i'll be adding some as i think of them.  If you have any ideas feel free to communicate them to me.

Day 14

Today is officially the end if my second week. I took today as a rest day as I feel exhausted. I didn't sleep well last night and I honestly felt if I did a work out I wouldn't have been able to put anything Into it. It's the 2nd time in 14 days I didn't do yoga.   I am going to do some stretching here in a minute though so in still limbering my body up.

I'm posting this from my phone so tomorrow will be the day I post about my goals and such. The extra day will be good as I'm still ironing out the goals. We will see how I feel in the morning. Maybe a rest day is what I needed.

Day 13

Day 13 was good.  I got in bed late last night because i went to a friends and watched Money in the Bank.  My Energy levels we're semi low today, i had a cheat day yesterday and suffered from it.  I'm pretty sure i'm done with cheat days.  I did energy today and got some decent time in my fat burning zone (according to my heart rate monitor).

So tomorrow i'm going to get into some goals.  I'm gonna post a list of goals i want to obtain, and that way I've got something to work toward.

Sorry it's so short, but if i do it everyday sometimes there isn't much to talk about.

Day 11 and 12

Today is a 2 parter, The I'm doing day 11 and 12 now, then tonight i'm gonna be doing day 13.  I've also decided that i'm going to make time for this blog.  I was posting everyday then it got to be a few days apart.  Part of keeping myself accountable is doing this blog.  I haven't fallen off the wagon i'm really impressed with my results in 12 days, HOWEVER i stay more motivated when i type this.  So from here on out, even if it's just a quick sentence or 2 letting you know what i've done for the day, then that's what i'll do.

Day 11.
On day 11 (Saturday) I did Energy and Red Hot Core.  I finally got my Heart Rate Monitor up and running, and ran in my fat burning zone for a majority of the workout.  I felt incredible.  I also bought a yoga mat, i was doing yoga on hard wood floor.  This wasn't a huge issue, however after the purchase of the mat, it helped my performance tremendously.  I ate pretty good for the day, and went grocery shopping and bought a ton of health food.

Day 12.
On day 12 (Sunday) i didn't do an exact DDPYoga routine.  My hipflexers were really tight, so i took several moves from DDPYoga and made my own routine stretching just my hipflexers out for about half an hour.  It felt awesome.  That's always been a "trouble area" for me and DDPYoga has helped a lot.

Something i want to touch on is what am i eating.  The dietary plan for DDPYoga is based on a gluten free portion size plan.  However i'm doing mostly gluten free and staying under 1800 calories.  Completely gluten free is tough, and i think the best thing for me is just making healthier decisions.  I feel to many people try to dive in head first instead of taking strides, and that's why they fail their weight loss goals.  I'm taking baby steps and progressing everyday.  Your body was not build in a day, take your time, make progress on your time while still challenging yourself and YOU WILL GET BETTER.

Day 10

For all you folks that thought i fell off the wagon, Do i have bad news for you.  In the first 10 day's i've only missed 2 days doing DDPYoga.  The other 2 days i got in a ton of walking.  On Wednesday/Thursday i was in Richmond VA with work.

Day 7 which was Tuesday.  I got in a Fat Burner and an Energy.  My food that day was pretty solid, as i stayed below my caloric deficit, and really applied myself to the workouts.

Day 8/9 I was in Richmond as i stated before and did a ton of walking.  My food wasn't the best, however i made better decisions about what i ate.  Instead of the fried chicken supplied at the expo i was at, i ate a sub from subway (Hey it's the lesser of 2 evils here)

So that leads me to today, day 10.  1/9th of the way through this 90 day challenge.  How do i fell, way better then i did 10 days ago.  The progress i've made is nuts (as i'll explain in a minute).  So, today i feel that i need to weight to see how i did while in Richmond.  Did i gain weight from the semi bad eating.  NOT AT ALL.  I made smarter decisions, stayed in my caloric range, and actually lost .5 pounds.  How great is that.  So that got me motivated, as well as the amazing crew at teamddpyoga.com and i decided today i was going to try Diamond Cutter.  Which is a 50 minute workout.

Normally i struggle with count push ups here.  However, i absolutely killed Diamond Cutter, no modifications, no BS, no "Feeling sorry for myself" so i need to take it easy.  Just me, a yoga mat, and Diamond Dallas Page.  That's right, I killed that thing.  What i accomplished stretching was amazing, and the kicker was this.  I did all 5 sets of 3 second push ups.  If you don't do DDPYoga or don't know what a count push up is it is this.  Your in plank, you go down for 3 seconds, you hold at the bottom for 3 seconds, you go up for 3 seconds, then go down 3 seconds, hold another 3 seconds and drop to the ground.  That's right, i did all 5.  I really impressed myself, BUT it get's better.

I then did all 5 Exploding push ups, Which is where you go all the way down to where your about an inch of the ground in "crocodile" then count to five, after 5 you push up as hard as you can.  I did all 5 in a row.  After that some more stretching follow by a 5 second push up, which is the same as the 3 but in 5 second intervals.  Oh boy, but if you thought the story was over your wrong.

I then get to 10 second push ups, i'm nervous, my arms are trembling from the amount of time I've spent doing Dynamic  Resistance punches, curls, pull ups and all that, plus the amount of time I've spent in down dog.  So i get to the 10 second push up.  That means, 10 seconds going down, holding 10 seconds, pushing up 10 seconds, going down 10 seconds, holding 10 seconds, then dropping..  And i did it.... the entire thing.

We only get better and stronger by pushing our limits.  If we do what is comfortable we will never get results.  Today i pushed myself, and found out i could do things i never thought i'd be able to do this quick.

Guys, this program is the real deal.  It's the closest things to a miracle drug there is.  Look into it.

With that, i'll see you guys tomorrow.

Day 6

What does day 6 have in store for me?  Another DDPYoga that's for sure.  6 straight days, 2 video's a day.  Getting super strong.  I'm seeing subtle differences already, and the flexibility is coming faster then i thought.  I talked to Rob (http://www.youtube.com/user/DDPYogaVSRob check out his videos) and for week 2, i'm challenging myself even further.  Yoga in the morning, i'm doing all my yoga in the morning just to see how it affects me.  I've lost a few pounds, (don't wanna give away a lot because i want people to see the big  picture on day 30) but i wanna see how this can help me in my journey.

Also, i wanna touch on something that I talked to Rob about.  Cheating (oh no, i said it).  Is it ok?  Now everything based on this, is 100% opinion.  And coming from a man, who lost 80 pounds (prior to gaining it back) i cheated.  HOWEVER, what i did was this.  If i cheated, i still stayed in my 1800 calorie a day allowance, and just moderated.  Instead of having a pizza, i had a slice of pizza.  I think it's ok to be human.  Where people run into issues is when they have cheat days every day, OR when they say a cheat day, they eat bad the whole day.  That's not good.

Anyway people i'm 6 days in, tomorrow is day 7 and, I've decided, i'm not stopping, i'm gonna do it all 7 days every week.  This week will be challenging as i have to go to Richmond for work Wednesday and Thursday.  But, i think i'll be able to handle it.  Day 30 is coming, what will my results be?  keep checking out the blog and find out.  I'll probably do a video for my 30 day, but i'm not 100% sure yet.

Day 5

Another great day.  My body is feeling better, i feel that i'm getting stronger.  Staying positive and keeping motivated.  I'm looking forward to my day 7 weigh in and measurements.  I'm gaining an incredible amount of flexibility.
I'm continuing the tradition of doing videos a day.  Today i did Fat Burner, as I've stated many times i feel is pound for pound the best workout, and Energy.  Rough 45 minutes of working out.  Another thing I've started is doing some stretching at night.  Nothing to strenuous just to gain a bit more flexibility.
I feel smaller, i'm sure that part of that is just in my mind, but isn't having the mentality part of the journey?  If you think it, you can do it.  Hopefully, anyone who reads this will get inspired and make the decision to change their life as well.
Another thing, i can't remember if i discussed this yesterday, but I've fully made the transition from dairy milk to almond milk.  Not necessarily as tasty but definitely better for you.

Day 3 and 4

Sorry i missed yesterday, I did workout, but afterwards i immediately drove to a friends and watched a bunch of AJPW from 1990.  I'm a huge old school wrestling fan.

So for day 3 i decided to do something a little different, i ate more earlier, and had lighter meals later.  This turned out to be a big help, as it prevented me from wanting to binge eat.  I was usually getting around 500-600 calories (out of the 1800) by 5 o'clock, and eating heavy later.  My ex boss Matt told me to eat more earlier to prevent cravings, and man did that help.  Thanks for that advice Matt.

So I came home and did Stand Up followed by Energy.  My girlfriend whose joining in at least 3 days a week did energy with me.  Stand Up is a great exercise and really helps you stay motivated as it is completely different from the other workouts I've been doing.  Sometimes a change in pace is needed to keep you going.  I'm trying to keep other's motivated in this as well.

Day 4, Saturday.  I woke up and had fruit salad.  Now, this is just what i call it, but it was a chopped up apple, chopped up banana, and 2 pieces of turkey bacon.  Then afterwards i did Stand Up again, and then straight into Red Hot Core, which to be honest, sucks.  I don't mean sucks in a bad way, it just hurts from where my mid section is completely useless at this point.  BUT i know i will get stronger by continuing to do this.

Day 3 and 4 were both a huge success.  And i'm looking forward to day 5.

Day 2

Today, there's not a lot to talk about.  It's July 4th, did i splurge? Absolutely.  Did i moderate the splurge?  Absolutely.  Sure i ate a hamburger, and some chips, But i ate no desert at all.  It's all part of the battle, learning how to moderate.  I did fit time in to workout today, i did Fat Burner, because (i hate to keep saying this) at my level, it still gives me the best workout.  My body feels great, i can feel a difference in just a couple of days.

I didn't keep a caloric intake total today, i suppose i should have, tomorrow is back to strict eating.

Have a great 4th everyone.

DDPYoga Day 1

Day 1.  This is the worst day of all.  The day to reflect on the way you look, and to say "wow, how did i let myself get to this point."  All you can do is stop thinking that way, and think what can you do to make yourself better for tomorrow.  I used to always get down on myself, because i would think, man if i would have started this 6 months ago, like i planned, i could already see results.  Well, it's not that easy, we all have our own personal demons.  And I have decided to make today day 1.

What am i doing?  I am doing DDPYoga.   Can you get results from Yoga?  If you don't know the answer to that question, you haven't checked out DDPYoga.  This program is intense.  Now, i have messed with the program in the passed, just never stuck with a routine, and i semi follow the workout schedule, but i'm increasing it.   I may be fat, but my cardiovascular strength is pretty good.  I can run several miles, (even at 252 lbs) without stopping.  So instead of doing 3 workouts per week, i will be working out 6/7 days a week.

Today, day 1, I started off with Energy.  I love the workout, but it just doesn't have enough mmph in it.  I'm not underestimating it, but again, my cardio is pretty solid, and i'm actually a semi strong guy, so the moves don't tire me out.  I feel this is an amazing start-up.  However, then i switch gears and go directly into Fat Burner, no time off, not water break, just boom right into it.  And let me tell you, I get sweatier doing that then any p90x workout I've ever done.

Now that my workout is complete my body doesn't have that odd really tired and sore feeling.  My body feels as though it has worked out, but it's a more pleasing feeling.  My muscles feel relaxed, my spine feels good, and i for whatever reason feel rested.

What am i doing for diet?  Well DDPYoga comes with a diet plan, and i think it's great.  Am i going to follow it to a T.  Probably not.  My diet has become pretty bad the last few years, and instead of just diving head first into the eating plan, i'm going to slowly just make healthier decisions, and stay below an 1800 calorie intake.

The reason so many people fail at this, is they set to high of a standard for themselves.  THIS IS NOT ABOUT EGO, this is about getting results, and becoming healthy.  Honestly i don't care what anyone tells you, fitness is not designed to just jump in and be able to do it, if it was, everyone would be fit.  Just think about if their was nothing to being fit healthy, we wouldn't have a 70% obese population.  Do you want it bad enough?  Where you see results is pushing past your limits.  Hey i couldn't do a push up about 3 years ago.  Now i can do about 30 or 40 before having to stop.  KEEP improving, keep pushing yourself.

Through-out this blog, i'm going to document my workouts, some days it'll be a shorter blog, and some days i'll give you a bit more into my life, my thoughts on things, and other things.  I am not a fitness expert, however, i have been given the tools to succeed.  And you can do this, and I can do this.

Ready to make a change?  www.ddpyoga.com  At least check it out.

So just know, that today is that day, my starting day, my day is July 3rd 2013, i will be able to look back and see results from this day.  And i challenge you, whatever day you may come across this, make TODAY your day 1, and see results from today.  You can't change the past, but you can change the future.

Day 1 Workouts done.  Energy, Fat Burner
Caloric Intake - 1700

Introducing myself and what i'm doing.

Hey guys, thanks for finding this blog.  My name is Jonathan Seabolt, I'm from a very small town in Virginia called Bluefield.  For those of you who have never heard of Bluefield DDP Has a series on youtube called Bluefield hell that you should check out.  It doesn't necessarily depict the way everyone from Bluefield acts.  Anyway, i have struggled with weight my entire life I've always been a "husky" guy, even dating back to elementary school.  I was the typical person who wanted people to feel sorry for me, as much as i was feeling sorry for myself.  I ate tons of fast food and even while at home i didn't have the best diet.

I have been a huge DDP Fan sense the 90's, he was my favorite wrestler when i was a kid.  His shirt was the first wrestling shirt i ever bough (i'm also convinced i was so big, if i found that shirt, it was probably an adults size).  I followed his career past WCW i remember being blown away when it was him that was the Undertaker's wife Stalker.  Then during a match he did a superplex, and that was the last i remember seeing him on TV.

I got out of wrestling for a while, until i saw he was going to be in Fisherville VA, which is about 3 hours from my house, so me and a few buddy's decided to hop in the car and go to Fisherville.  Then, the coolest thing happened in my life, i met an idol.

I'm the fat guy on the right with the beard.  So in conversation i told DDP i was from Bluefield, he held up the line and talked to me for a few minutes.  With that he relayed that he was doing Yoga and i should check out the stuff.  YOGA? Are you kidding me?  What a joke.  But it was DDP so i decided to go home and look up some stuff.  Then i saw Arthur (sorry to be that guy, but seriously, who hasn't seen that and been motivated by that)  So i started doing some fitness and actually lost some weight.  Then i found a girlfriend and gained every pound back.

Here i am today.  252 pounds, a 48" waist.  I bought DDPYoga, and DDPYoga will change my life.

This blog is here for 2 reasons, to keep me motivated and accountable for my actions and weight loss during this journey, and to motivate someone to show them anyone can do it.  I will make at least once a day (unless something crazy happens and i'm not near a computer).  I invite you all to share this, and follow this.  Feel free to comment, Negative comments are welcome as well because that will just motivate me more.  You can add me on facebook and message me anytime.

Are you guys ready to OWN YOUR LIFE  I am.

Thanks
